Mount Fuji, Japan's treasure

Mount Fuji was registered as a World Heritage Site in 2013 as an object of worship and a source of artistic inspiration. It is the tallest mountain in Japan, standing at 3,776 meters above sea level, and has had a major impact on the Japanese view of nature and Japanese culture.

Our thoughts

The Omote Fuji Mountain Guide Club introduces the beautiful nature and cultural value of Mount Fuji to many people both in Japan and overseas, and works to make climbing Mount Fuji a more valuable experience for climbers.

Know , prepare , act

"Where and what kind of risks exist?" Mountain guides will provide advice and judge the situation based on their experience. They will also give advice on equipment and clothing, including for lightning strikes, strong winds, falling rocks, getting lost, hypothermia, dehydration, and falls.

Seeking excitement

We guide climbers from all over the world who come with various goals, such as "I want to climb Japan's highest mountain, Mt. Fuji, at least once" and "I want to see the sunrise from the summit," to help them achieve their goals.

What is a mountain guide?

A mountain guide is someone who understands the natural environment and the associated dangers, and is able to escort ordinary climbers. Guides also take safety into consideration and act in a way that allows climbers to enjoy climbing in comfort.

Hiring a mountain guide will allow you to reach a summit you could not have achieved on your own. Your guide's expert leadership will allow you to enjoy the climb in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
